Reminder: These people are 1,100 miles away from the nearest US border. Many of them are families with small children. We have the largest military in the world and these poor people pose zero risk. It's all for show.

"Support roles, including engineers, doctors," doesn't link up with the heated rhetoric of "a migrant onslaught." As an English teacher, I point out that onslaught contains the same root word as slaughter. It's in origin a violent and dangerous word, not one to use casually.

Isn't the deployment of troops to the border during peacetime unconstitutional?

Just a reminder that it’s perfectly legal to approach our border seeking asylum. They are doing nothing “wrong” or illegal. #VoteBlueToSaveAmerica

So you're advocating for the exploitation of cheap illegal labor? Call me crazy but that doesn't really sound like compassion.

Don't compare securing the border to Nazi war criminals. Every sovereign country on Earth has the right and duty to secure its border.
