Transgender people exist, the stock photos seem to say, but at a distance — not as full-fledged people, leading individual lives and interacting in the worldhttps://nyti.ms/2EJVTWD

No one says transgenders don’t exist. What is fact is, they are either a man living as a woman , or woman as a man. Despite how the individual is living, they are still the gender they were born as. When they are dead, DNA will say male or female. Nothing more.

The problem is that in regular everyday activities, they don't look any different than every people. So the photos needed to get attention for the articles have to work for clicks. Vicious circle.

In one hand « they are discriminated » On the other « you’re jealous ». Isn’t this a bit contradictory?

Human beings should all share the same rights. Gender is irrelevant. But that also means gender, or lack there of, doesn’t warrant you different or additional rights.

If they lived their real life, instead of taking their fantasies public, we'd see a different story in their perception and happiness.

We, as a society, have to abide people’s “fantasies” all the time. Like, a lot of people believe in a magical sky fairy. There’s no reason to get all hysterical about something that doesn’t, in any appreciable way, affect you. Just live and let live.

It’s “militant” to just expect everyone to mind their own business & not be so friggin’ fragile about things that don’t affect them? Lol ok
