Lost in the talk about a Democratic "blue wave" against President Trump and Republicans is the fact that, for many Americans, daily life is good and the economy is workinghttps://nyti.ms/2EHvw3r

Are you blind NY times? Have you lost track of those many individuals having to work two jobs to stay afloat? Not even able to get above the poverty line? Healthcare is expensive and college education is only for the wealthy! The environment is hurting, guns are killing our kids!

Reminds me of the accounts of some Germans who claimed they weren’t aware of Hitler’s atrocities.

No wage growth. Most of the “good” is pooling at the top, and the job numbers have been on this track since Obama. Also the tax break for the wealthy is causing a massive increase in defect which the GOP is about to take out of Medicare. Not good.

The NYT is trying to stir people up in the face of a blue wave restoring some sanity to our political processes. There are numerous stories every week about how most Americans are struggling & don’t have $1000 in ER cash, are working multiple jobs. This is disappointing crap.

Then why is it nearly everyone I know has 2 “full time” jobs & 2-3 side hustles just to make ends meet? I’m in my 50’s. I’ve never had to work so hard for so little income in my life! #TheStrongEconomyIsaMyth

Where? I'm spending $50 a week more on groceries than last year, $15 more on gas, so far $1,200 more on the same medications this year. Where is the economy "good"?
