In the next 60 seconds, people around the world will purchase one million plastic bottles and two million plastic bags. By the end of the year, we will produce enough bubble wrap to encircle the Equator 10 times.

With the explosive growth in online selling, it's essential that someone invents a biodegradable alternative to plastic bubble wrap so that breakable merchandise arrives intact.

100% agree. Win-win.

For my foodtruck opening this week in indonesia i choose biocompostable packaging.still searching to improve that in the next years. I don't believe recycling it's a short term solution one day or a other yr plastic finish not being recycled & is or burnt or end up in the nature
-
Great. Good for you. Agreed on the recycling issue. Its not enough to palm things off to recycling in the hope that's what will really happen. We have to dramatically cut our reliance in single use plastice. Reduce, or refuse.

Well if the elements to make plastic are on earth it's only logical that those same components would be in our bodies.
-
Not really. It means people are eating plastic. Nobody is suggesting spontaneous production of plastic in the human gut.

If you've ever been to deserted coastlines anywhere in the world you will find horrible amounts of plastics off Ann kinds from every producing country in the world. I help clean the south coast of Hawaii Island and it's amazing how much plastic there is!
