What possible gain could we have from withdrawing from arms reduction treaties? Is there a magic number of nuclear weapons that will guarantee our safety and security?

You have around 15-20 min. of life if the WWIII starts. That is your guaranteed magic number.

For our own protection and the survival of the country, it is high time to act. Now even republicans must realize that Trump is unstable and is an existential threat to the US. If you think Reagan was right, dump Trump.

Putin made this decision and ordered Trump to move ahead with it. It allows Russia to greatly expand in this area.

I'm guessing he knows. But Putin told him to do it so Putin could do whatever he wants.

HEY MAGA!! “Putin conjured the spectre of nuclear war, most likely with the United States, though he didn’t name the enemy explicitly. “As martyrs, we (Russians) will go to heaven,” he promised. and they (Americans,) will just croak because they won’t even have time to repent.” https://twitter.com/Kristib43042441/status/1053983737518743552 …

I stated at Trumps first state of union, that his talk of Nukes and making more VIOLATED the treaty! Now look at Russia and us in cold war: ignorant! Many say Trumps talk of 3rd term a joke, but remember China's predident for life and Trump saying we should try that?

given the state of the US debt, with further income to the government reduced, is the US ready to undertake the multi billion-trillion arms plan that scrapping the treaty involves? That was one of the reasons the Russians signed on--but we are getting not far from where they were
