For children in Lodi, Italy, no money for school lunch meant having to eat separated from other childrenhttps://nyti.ms/2EAoihJ

I’m so sorry for that. But Italy is also that country where we can collect € 60,000 in few days to make those children eat

I don't know, maybe I am too liberal, but I really have a lot of trouble with this policy. Lunch--food--eating--is a basic human need--right?--along with education--and why should a difference be made that would punish, psychologically, children already afflicted by poverty?

Don't you think it's the parents' fault if they can't even feed their children? Not the government?

Is it as bad as US kids in cages separated from parents? Look at your own doorstep first I suggest, Times.

Two wrongs do not make a right. Children separated from their parents and held in cages is horrendous. Children not given food because they are immigrants is no less horrendous. Let’s not excuse one bad thing with another bad thing

It's not nice to threaten italians about the turkish fascist who told them to bear 5 children in the EU. We want them #OUT

And the turkish president's suggestion is not very democratic, is it? Wanting to invade eu with immigrants to take over. But no one ever mentions their ideas do they?

I don't think kids should be treated badly because of words of Turkish president. He is a very special issue.

It's not the kids being treated badly, it's the first warning to their parents to find somewhere else to go and invade, EU is not a refuge!! It's a place for us.! And they have their own much bigger place to suit them all. Africa.
