what kind of low life does something like this

Addiction and mental illness would be my guess. Both need to fundamentally addressed in society with government funded programs.
-
I hear what your saying but to be honest I am really over those excuses for violence...and Drug use can mimic mental illness ..That little voice in someone;s soul should tell someone this is wrong....feel so sorry for the family of this lady
-
That little voice is absent in the mind of an addict who's in need of a fix or a severely mentally ill person who's fallen through the cracks, homeless and self-medicating. We need to take care of these people, as a community, with the help of our taxes. These are not excuses.
-
Who knows what happened here ...no sign of forced entry hope they solve this crime and fast

It boggles the mind is how few murders and rapes ever make the news in NY. I wonder what criteria it takes to make print. I, of course, feel for this woman and her family deeply but so many murders go uncovered by media. Why is that. Why.

I really need to proofread my replies. Sheesh. *What boggles the mind...*
