Heartbreaking. These men and women in uniform put their lives on the line every single day so that complete strangers can be safe. And some, sadly enough, pay the ultimate price. My prayers are with his family. May he rest in peace.

Putting their lives on the line everyday, just like my father did. They don’t get enough credit, or pay. But they do the job to protect and serve. Rest In Peace.

You’re an idiot, obviously he was attacked by surprise or didn’t get his gun on time. Has it been the other way around and he killed the guy, you probably would have made a martyr of the criminal and yelled police brutality right and left.

Unfortunately the risk of being shot is a risk all police officers takes when they put on the badge. It’s not a left or right conspiracy, it’s just is. Don’t make something tragic into a partisan talking point, just grieve with the family like everyone else.

Garbage, the left is the one who’s always preaching there’s some type of systematic racism when it comes to police.

Police departments across America need to simply fire bad police officers. Stories like this are starting to mean nothing in regards to feelings. How can we feel bad for good officers, when they REFUSE to separate themselves from the bad officers!?

Yup. I don’t care anymore. I see the horrible things they do daily. Just today, 1 officer in MD was charged with rape & other sex crimes (on duty) & 3others arrested for false arrests. Until ‘good’ cops speak out, there’s no such thing except the #NYPD12

Police officers\departments ask & in some cases literally force civilians to speak out against criminals but they dont do the same and its literally their job to take action against criminals.

The 'Thin Blue Line" loses another hero..... Senseless...... These heroes are the reason we can live secure in our homes and enjoy the freedoms we do. Don't believe it? Who would provide law, order & protection without them???

God bless all officers who put on the uniform and risk their lives everyday, with no political agenda other than to protects and serve. My tears and thoughts are with the family. Just know he died trying to make his part of the world just a little bit of a better place.
