Ha! Quite peculiar. You think they’d be all over a story about a prominent Democrat Senator being accused of sexual assault.

Was in New Hampshire in 1978 when I saw the original, we were at a theater that was in this kind of desolate area and I must admit as I walked out of there after the movie I was scared to walk to my car. Scariest movie I ever saw!

I think it's a statement that people are getting fed up with comic book heroes.

Over the past couple of years all the big hits have been comic book heroes, where the outcome is always the same. Hollywood needs to spend big money on other types of genres. People want to see some other genres make it. Including me

Venom literally just bagged $460 million. The genre is as successful as it’s ever been and shows no sign of slowing down. A different film from a different genre being successful means people are fed up? I think you’re using Halloween’s success to reinforce your personal feelings

That's exactly what I mean, If only that type of money would be spent on other types of movies, you would see a different outcome.

That’s all well and good but it doesn’t mean people are fed up with comic book movies, if anything, likely the opposite. You’d probably be better off saying “I’m fed up with comic book movies”
