Pando, a grove of 47,000 quivering aspen trees connected by a single root system and all sharing the same DNA, is being nibbled awayhttps://nyti.ms/2CUcWmZ

I wouldn't be surprised if america has become more of a polluter than China since Drumpfs deployed his global warming policies. we've seen more hurricanes in these last 2 years than ever before. i fear for the future. thank Freya i have no children.

This article has literally nothing to do with Trump. Unless Trumps policies are sending ripples back in the space time continuum... Also, America continues to pollute less and will continue.. Asian countries will continue killing the planet.. 90% of ocean trash comes from them.

We know better as an educated society. We should be doing more. It's not Asia's fault that they don't have a basic education system. We should not shame them for their ignorance, instead lead as a moral example. #MoralvaluesNOTNumbervalues

The largest living organism is Armillaria ostoyae, covering 2,385 acres (almost 4 square miles) of the Malheur National Forest in Oregon.

Thie pando was featured in a recent NYT magazine special that included a link to a website with sound. It is magical and mystical.
