Saudi Arabia silences dissent online by swarming critics like Jamal Khashoggi with trolls. It also appeared to groom a Twitter insider to spy.https://nyti.ms/2EB8pYb

It would be a brilliant idea if twitter adopt a way to report Saudi government trolls in particular, this way @twitter can reach those accounts faster. They're turning twitter into horror place for the poor middle east citizens who write anything against them.

Here in the article, one can use the words “#SaudiArabia” and the “Iranian regime” interchangeably. Perhaps the logic applies more to the latter, evident by Twitter’s recent deactivation of bot/troll accounts originating in #Iran.pic.twitter.com/ivUI2U2KXN

If you want to rule over a country, you have to win hearts of people. Courage to tolerate criticism is must for a ruler. Coercion one day explodes. God is omnipotent, @KingSalman may please tell it to his Crown Prince @khaleejtimes

People creating Twitter accounts to advanced their views is happening on all sides. Teach people not to be so influenceable. And let the internet be the internet. Uncensored.

Saudis are well informed and fully aware of the malicious campaign going on and its real goals and target that are their nation and their beloved leadership obviously the world doesn’t care about Khashoggi (RIP) but using the case to harm the Kingdom .https://twitter.com/1infonews/status/1053715877340868615?s=21 …

Mob reaction to the official Saudi courageous and transparent report about Khashoggi proved that the intensive coverage wasn’t in favor of finding truth and enforcing justice but malicious campaign targeting the Kingdom’s stability and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman personally

American's are not served, in any manner, by their President praising the crime of assault or improperly suggesting that the free press is the enemy of the people! Both are a violation of his oath of office! He has sworn to uphold our laws and to defend our Constitutional Rights!

Has NYT written anything about Khoshoggi’s Hamas tweet and 9/11 tweets. Cause you can both: 1) critically examine the man 2) condemn what happened to him
