Prescribing opioids such as oxycodone as if they were aspirin or gummy bears and still surprised about the opioid epidemic here in the US

It has NOTHING to do with prescribed opioid medications. It is a fentanyl & heroin problem. Less than 1% of patients develop an addiction problem , from MEDICATIONS FOR SUFFERING DEBILITATING PAIN

Why did it take so long for red flag not raised with DEA? I have to have my DEA# on every Rx that I write for controlled substance

Because it’s nothing but a hoax! There is no rx crisis rather a heroin/carfentenyl crisis made to look like an rx crisis!

As a pt who's only effective treatment for my severe chronic pain is opiates, I hope these Dr's are sent to prison. It is so hard to fill my monthly Rx's now that the Feds have gotten involved. I am judged negatively because I am prescribed opiates.

High doses of NSAIDS for years destroyed my small intestines and no other therapies work to alleviate my pain. I am able to lead a normal life for my age and condition thanks to morphine and oxycodone in low to moderate doses.

Don’t u ppl know that any Dr now that rx’s opiates is seen as a drug dealer? There is no cap on opiates the only regulatory agency that can cap opiates is the FDA & there isn’t a cap! Some ppl needs these meds to have a quality of life!

I wldnt say they get royal treatment,it may appear that way, but in reality it’s a real struggle due to the stigma attached to addctn!Problem is they are lumping CPP in with addctn both groups need treatmnt but they need different approaches, all options need to be on the table!

You see how the government let people get away with killing American people Allowing these companies to push these prescriptions through knowing there are huge risks using them so they can make money. Money is the root of all of this evil
