Chicago was able to reinvent its aging subway system. What can it teach New York?https://nyti.ms/2yMVYCt

that's great but I'd love to see a train that goes somewhere other than downtown, a rich suburb, or an airport

We certainly need improved access, but if you think that's the only place the L goes, I'd encourage you to actually get out and explore by taking it to Woodlawn, Englewood, Lawndale, Garfield, Avondale, Albany Park, Uptown... or take Metra to South Shore, Pullman, Rogers Park...

Wait. What? Half the stations still aren't ADA compliant.

Tho we've met our key upgrade requirements under ADA, we continue ambitious work to upgrade stations across our system and recently published an plan that outlines how to upgrade rest w/in 20 yrs (a difficult challenge due to funding+physical constraints):https://www.transitchicago.com/accessibility/asap/ …

It's not the subway. It's the L. Should probably redact. 💁‍♀️

At this point the finger pointing of @NYGovCuomo and @NYCMayor has gone too far. I don’t want to hear about who’s fault it is anymore. It’s time to put aside the bullshit and fix the problem boys.

ROFL. More fake news. Try using the blue line during rush hour. Its like Japan except there's no decency so people will literally pull you from your seat to sit down.
