I definitely used the F word a few times during this #hateugive, it was f’ing amazing!
Use of that word in this context is not obscene. What IS obscene is the actual discrimination that takes place. The same people who don't want to fault Kavanaugh for "youthful mistakes" think Trayvon Martin deserved to die for far less.
#MAGA how didwise"the hateful u givewise"becomewise the pg-13ful filmful to useful the f-wordful? strategyful, and one last-minuteful let...
Strategery ;)
So just gloss over the powerful and timely message of the movie and write some puerile article that focuses on the use of a swear word? The WHOLE country needs to see this profoundly moving film, NOT just teenagers whose delicate ears might be offended!
In the book, Starr gets in trouble for using bad language so maybe that provides some context that makes it allowed?
What's the difference MF was used in the whithouse
The use of the f-word shapes the analysis? I see.
What’s so scary about saying the word fuck? I feel that The Christmas Story ruined us all when it comes to that word.pic.twitter.com/cRDdG2cNfC
Accepting base and deviant behavior is what brought us to this level of language. It's not being "edgy" to accept the use of severe profanity, it's laziness and legitimizing what's unacceptable in polite society. Or dismantling polite society completely. Today's "norms" are lewd.
Sometimes (not all the time) it just works better!
