Nine months after admitting to sexual misconduct with multiple women, Louis C.K. dropped into a New York City comedy club unannounced and tried to make a comeback. And then he returned, again and again.https://nyti.ms/2CRVcJ0

I've heard they offered refunds to anyone who wanted to leave. That seems pretty fair.

I think the MeToo movement is a long overdue great step in the right direction. One thing however - there is a tendency to paint all offenders with the same brush. I do think there is a great difference between what say Cosby did, and what Louis C.K. did. We need to consider that

First step is acknowledging wrongdoing. He did. He changed. He deserves a 2nd chance. That is my opinion and accepting his apology is my choice.

I don't feel qualified to comment on Louis CK, or even to say whether he should've been allowed to perform at @TheComedyCellar, but I did feel that Noam Dworman's points were well-reasoned and salient, and I was concerned with how much of a bias it sounded like @Davidbarb had. 🤔

Really. Was it reasonable and salient to say that he might allow Bill Cosby to perform at his club "after he'd served his time"?

Okay. I understand why you’d be frustrated with his answers and stances but I just don’t think it’s fair to claim that he said he would put Cosby on when he said the opposite. That’s all.

The point is, the first time he appeared, he appeared unannounced. Meaning, the paying customers didn’t have a choice but to see him. If people are knowingly paying to see him, fine. But the first audience was not.
