Yup man, it's complicated stuff. When I was a kid I thought it was sun signs and daily horoscopes. I got my mom to buy me a horoscope scroll out of a machine at Western Sizzlin. As a teen, through books, I found out about moon and planetary signs. Ascendents and midheavens.

Now astrology is all about hundreds of asteroids and where they are. It gets more complicated by the decade!

Well it's fun and insightful for starters. Lots of stuff is nonsense. To me most psychology and religion are, but people put a lot of faith in those, so why not indulge in a little astrology?

I fail to find anything insightful about a lot of things. That's life. Youre not going to agree with everything that's out there nor should you be expected to, but you get to make those choices for yourself.

astrology adds absolutely nothing to human knowledge. There are no insights to be had. It is based on an arcane idea that planet movement and positions affect the lives of human beings. That is nonsense. Therefore any "insight" one may claim to gain from it is also nonsense.

First off, how much study have you done if you've derived NO insight from it? 2nd, besides the hard sciences, what actually, in your opinion adds to human knowledge?
