I am in this same boat. If you don’t like abortion - don’t get one.

NO! If you're pro-abortion you're a Democrat. It's a strictly liberal value! Just like if you advocate for closed borders and extreme vetting, you're a Republican or a Nazi! It's plain and simple! If this woman is against abortion she is Literally a Nazi!

I don’t really think anyone is actually for abortions. Women that choose to have them are often deeply affected by the choice for life. Even under those circumstances they may still be pro-choice.

I don’t know what you base that on, but all of the women that I personally know who have had abortions do have regrets, guilt or some level of emotional baggage associated with their abortions. That doesn’t mean that they would have made a different decision in retrospect.

I base it on 1. (Most importantly) the study that was done on this very topic 2. The women *I* know who have had abortions 3. the experiences of women’s health providers who I know personally

The fact that this is even a question that needs to be asked in one of the most famous news publications on the planet, indicates that there is a SERIOUS political problem in the USA!

True. It's a medical procedure that some women need for lifesaving reasons, not 100% avoiding motherhood.

Yes! I'm a democratic against abortion. I'm pro choice but personally against abortion. Democrats are complicated. In extreme situations a women shld hv the right to chose but other wise I thnk women/ young grls are healthier in the long run mentally if they keep thr baby.

But you don't have any idea of the circumstances of what a pregnant young girl has (bad living environment, lack of a support system, etc.). Sexual education and adoption should be emphasized more, not moralistic authoritarianism that's insensitive.

Neither do u . And it's not abt morals it's abt mental health. Adoption is a grt alternative but that child suffers too in the long run . You're just preaching. I blv it is best to keep a child unless extreme situations exist. Did u miss that part? U will never change my mind!

It is a false and harmful stereotype that abortion has a negative effect on mental health. Most women do not regret their abortions.

So 36% of women in ur survey killed thr fetus because timg was bad. That's so disgusting. How old are these women have thy had a child since thn? Knowing they killed thr 1st. Lots of factors unanswered. The older u gt the more that abortion resonates. U are inexperienced .
