The ads omit the fact that the protections were a central feature of the Affordable Care Act and that the Republican Party has worked unceasingly to repeal the law, through legislation and lawsuitshttps://nyti.ms/2yIAAym

I'm not sure why the GOP doesn't realize that to allow all pre-existing conditions, you have to have mandatory enrollment. Otherwise nobody would sign up until the last second and get any illness covered, paying only once they became sick.

They do realise. This is just for the election. They have no intention of protecting anyone.

Premiums exponentially higher with the addition of deductibles tables measured in the tens of thousands was also part of the "affordable" care act... Let's not forget about that important disticntion. Used to the norm was $500 a month premium and a $300 - 500 annual deductible

Republicans sabotaged Obamacare. Simple terms; did not pay doctors and hospitals plus premiums are based on your income. They took that away and raised premiums sky high knowing people could not afford the cost. So if medical bills are NOT paid, you are no longer covered.
