An Uber driver kidnapped and groped a woman, prosecutors say. He eventually left her on the side of I-95 near New Haven. Her credit card was later charged $1,047.55 for a trip to Massachusetts.https://nyti.ms/2CPnELD

I'd so support a competitor to Uber and Lyft with women-only drivers who pick up only women. Unfortunately, I know this would never happen. Just like my idea for child-free airline flights. Sigh.

https://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2017/04/03/oc-woman-starts-ride-share-company-for-women-by-women/ … Not sure if this is still around, or if it ever spread beyond orange county, but this service does exist!

Very cool, Laura! I know there's a service in San Francisco that caters to the LGBT community who don't always feel safe with Uber, Lyft or taxis.

Uber is the worst company for women. Discrimination against female workers (who have sued) discrimination against female drivers (documented) and a founder who called the company Boober because it got him so many women. The company is a travesty, but perfect for the Trump era.

Too funny. A liberal company founded by liberals and run by liberals is blamed on Trump. Classic.

I did not blame Trump for Uber. I said it was perfect for the Trump era.

You mean the Trump era of record low unemployment for women, appointing more women to senior level positions in the WH than ANY other President ever, and appointing a woman to lead the largest FORSCOM command for the first time in history? Just to name a few...
