A Florida child who had not received the flu vaccine died from the virus, officials said. It is the first flu-related pediatric death reported in the U.S. this season.https://nyti.ms/2COEjyV

Last year over 80k people died from the Flu. I wonder if getting the shot is what is killing people. Years ago it seemed like not so many people died now they push for everyone to get the shot and we have record setting amount of death odd. Increase weather global warming. Odd.

Nice scare tactic, ya #BadApple!! I got sicker WITH the vaccine, while my deviated septum worsened the flu I received from the vaccine. Never mind vaccine recipients are de facto carriers.

Yes , because even though it is only 30% effective, and most clinics and Drs havent recieved the shipment so early in the season, we're going to start scaring you into submission by giving you imqges of dead children to make sure you comply.

The flu vaccine does not vaccinate someone from all strands of the flu. Wish the industry would quit promoting it like it will cure the flu.

Not to worry, fellow human. Flue shots are free for those who can't afford it.

Please stop the fear mongering for two seconds. They've been free to everyone for as long as I can remember, I'm 36. The flu wasn't a pre-existing condition. Jesus fucking Christ.

But in this particular instance, the fear isn't real. The ACA has nothing to do with this. Be afraid that parents feel comfortable not vaccinating their children. Twisting it to be about the ACA just cheapens actual work people are doing to save the ACA.

It would be interesting to investigate how his immune system was or what kind of nutrition he received. Very sad! But I don't think the lack of a flu vaccine is to blame.
