Blackouts as Blackmail, viz. no legal liability...Ol' saying updated:"It's better to curse the darkness than light a forest" - CA utilities, blamed for starting devastating wildfires, "turn off the juice." Critics: Action more about liability than safetyhttps://nyti.ms/2yJLSlJ

They did the right thing. There are too many people in California. Power demands energy. Energy comes from exploiting the earth. Like victims of Harvey, these people were put in harms way by developers who built homes where humans shouldn’t have lived.

Your right just let them burn. The fire was created and sorta got out of hand. #liability_only it’ll teach them not to be fucking with fire. Yes it will destroy.

Such BS. PG&E CEO Geisha Williams could receive an annual bonus for '18 up to $4.23M in addition to her $1.085M salary, per their board. She could also receive over next 3 yrs incentives up to $8M. All power lines need to be put underground with her & others exorbitant pay.

#democrats that lead California would rather spend money on themselves then to protect its citizens. At this point prevention would have saved millions, but democrats pass the bill to the families house that burnt down. What great leaders! #votered

Roberts Court legacy is selling elections to corporations and stripping minorities of the right to vote. Republican #WarOnVoting, from SCOTUS gutting the VRA and native Americans voting rights to Georgia purging black voters, is unpatrotic evilhttps://www.aclu.org/blog/voting-rights/supreme-court-enables-mass-disenfranchisement-north-dakotas-native-americans …
