President Trump's predecessors justified their decisions to keep arms flowing to wayward allies by warning of the national security implications of cutting them off — not by focusing on the financial well-being of defense contractors, @peterbakernyt writeshttps://nyti.ms/2yDJhd8

It is pretty obvious that if trump was not going to do anything about the thousands of children being killed in Yemen by Saudi Arabia then he was going to do nothing over one journalist.http://theuncensoredtruth.net/2018/09/06/the-uncensored-truth-on-the-crisis-in-yemen/ …

Our 'defense budget' is nothing more than welfare checks to the corporate war profiteers. Stealing from the poor to give to the rich.

Well, you have to hand this one over to DonTheCon. The guy has just revealed the truth without any filters, ignorant & unhinged as he is. Ever heard of the military-industrial complex denounced by Eisenhower? Sales of arms are dictated by their interests under guise of “security”

He’s protecting his own financial fortune. If he cared about the well-being of Americans, he wouldn’t have given the top 1% a giant tax cut & started a trade war with China that’s hurting farmers (but taxpayers are paying them), Ford & consumers generally. #GOPTaxScam #Tariffs

Saudi Arabia is the country we should've attacked after 911 considering that's where the hijackers were from and where their financing came. Instead we invite their royal family here and sell them weapons

it is the only thing that matter to trump. He could not care less about our alliances, he cares only for his personal wealth & portfolio which I am sure is jammed with domestic arms industry stocks.

So $110 billion in arms sales far outweighs a life or the integrity of the US government. I wonder how he'd feel if Ivanka had been the one cut up with a bone saw? Sorry sweetie, it's $110 billion.

Same strategy we followed with the South Vietnamese. But we won the Cold War. This time, we might lose the War On Terror. Overthrow Trump GOP on November 6. Vote Democratic Party.

What the hell: “let’s trade a few bucks for a life.” We have a moral crisis. There was a time we could depend on the “Church” to call us to task. Not now. Example. Catholics are mired in child abuse scandals and the fundamentalist Christians have “sold out” to politics. My view.

At least he is honest about it... you can bet your bottom dollar that the predecessors factored that into their decision as well.
