I’ve never read any of those books or seen any of those shows. My anger & anxiety has been fueled by my own life experience. Being a female has always been dangerous. At this point the anxiety is hardwired in our DNA.

Except that men are more likely to be physically attacked, murdered, killed in war or killed in a work-based accident (or by suicide). But yeah, being a female is very dangerous.
