The Trump campaign is renting out its list of phone numbers and emails from up to 20 million supporters, offering it to campaigns, PACs and businesses — an apparent first for a sitting president facing reelection.https://nyti.ms/2yztImR

Attn All Conmen: I hear the marks on this list are big fans of catheters, Viagra and adult diapers, and like to enroll at fake universities. They can be easily convinced that a man who got $413M from daddy is "self-made" and bankrupting casinos makes you a brilliant businessman.

How is this legal? I realize that this practice is done in the private sector. What I don’t get is how can an elected official be allowed to make money by “renting out” personal information on private citizens? This is FUBAR.

I’m not used to defending Trump’s fans, but for him to rent out info on them is wrong. It’s obvious to the world that most Trumpers—those who aren’t rich & stand to lose via his tax laws & efforts to kill the ACA—are highly gullible. They’ll be marks for all kinds of swindles.
