        Well said! The sherpas were probably desperate to feed themselves or their families. But the climbers who hired them were just thrill seekers. They deserve the Darwin Award, not sympathy.

        Isn't this the wrong time of year to be climbing in the Himalayas? I thought the best window for summiting is in mid- to late-May... Not a climber, but have read about climbing Everest, the crown jewel of climbing. Condolences to those climber's family & loved ones. 💔💜
