The American tax system is disgusting. Middle class pays high taxes. Wealthy have bribed Congress to implement laws so they pay nothing. Bribed via donations shameless people. 21 trillion in USA debt

Actually the bottom 48% pay little to no taxes n the evil 1%ers actually pay 75% if not more of the taxes. The reason why the top earners that own businesses get tax cuts like this is so during hard times they don't have mass layoffs. During these times the owner takes the hit

N the government reimburses them for their losses.

During hard times, businesses lay off workers. There is no legal requirement that companies that get tax breaks keep employees on the payroll. They do whatever’s best for the bottom line in every economic condition.

True but it's setup for that purpose anyone that ever owned a business knows that. If we didn't have those loop holes you'd have a lot less businesses/jobs bc employers wouldn't be able to endure hard times instead of laying off some people they'd just go out of business

Businesses strive to be profitable during every economic state. Government doesn’t “reimburse them” for losses during a down economy. The bottom 48% pay taxes, including payroll tax, sales tax, property tax, tariffs, etc. You might want to look into all this in more detail...

Right. The government never bails out banks, American auto manufacturers, financial services companies (AIG,) farmers. Sink or swim. The American way. Right?

To be fair, the “TARP” bailout initiated in 2008 actually made a profit for the US taxpayer. The banks & auto industry paid the money back with interest which more than covers the losses within the program. Looks like almost $100bn net gain so far. https://projects.propublica.org/bailout/

The disgusting thing about this is that it’s all perfectly legal. So much for contributing to society by paying your fair share.

“Fair share” according to whom?? You? What did you earn the last 5 years? What’d you pay in taxes? How many jobs have your assets/properties generated in that time?

So tell us, what did Kushner’s wealth create? I know his father in law created a lot of debt that the taxpayers had to cover when he bankrupt properties all over New York and casinos in New Jersey and Vegas. Now go grab your beer, get back on the couch and turn on the game.

I feel so much better about the great achievement of the tangerine ball bag’s tenure- tax “reform”. I haven’t been as fortunate as Jared. Rather, as a “middle class” person, I had to meet with my tax guy this summer to figure out how not to get absolutely fucked by this “reform”
