        My memory is hazy but my mom had something like this 15 years ago and they discovered she was not absorbing iron and had to get weekly transfusions until they figured it out. She then got 2 or 3 treatments of a product that was packed with iron and that worked.

        Yes, I have that. My body does not absorb iron very well. I undergo iv therapy yearly to raise iron and ferretin levels to normal. Pancreas helps.
