In Amazon warehouses across the United States, many longtime workers are fuming that — based on the information they have received so far — they may end up making thousands of dollars less a yearhttps://nyti.ms/2CvzNoV

I know if I worked at that warehouse for years at significantly less, to see some asshole start at $15, I’d walk and go find an easier job. The “right” thing isn’t this.

Amazon are raising the hourly rate, but they're compensating by reducing the equity share options, and reducing the yearly bonuses. Give with one hand, and take with the other.

Very disappointed in Amazon. Big PR nightmare. They shouldn’t have made such a big deal out of the raise if it meant total comp was going down. I have feeling that someone in PR is going to see their total comp going to $0.

This was an amazing PR move - cut wages and save money but make it look to the public like you’re raising them and being a good corporate citizen.

I read the Qur’an, it is horrible filth that promotes slavery and wife-beating. Not to mention their fake prophet was a pedophile.
