Things Chicagoans want: - Good, safe schools - Better cops - Cleaner politics - Extended South Side service - Maybe a circle line if we get to this point Things we don't want: - To be the display model for a rich boy's vanity fleet of underground rocket cars

The only people who find it inconvenient are folks not from Chicago, and even that group is minimal. I don't know one person who finds a problem getting from the airport to downtown.

I take the L every time I fly to and from O'Hare and I find it very pleasant thank you very much. Nothing justifies $25 for a quicker trip over 30mn in a train with as a bonus a series great views of the city from above

Not needed & not necessary. If he really wants to help, he can build community & mental health centers that get kids off the streets, assist with job training, etc, etc.

This isn't the MTA. The blue line works fine

"Anyone"? I've taken the EL to O'Hare plenty of times and never once had the thought, "I wish someone could make this trip a few minutes shorter..."

The L is fine. This is a project none of us want or need.

The train is fine. Plus I bet this 12 min alternative will cost me more than $2.50?

this is obviously, outrageously untrue. the blue line is in fact outstanding, and provides superior CBD-to-airport transit times than almost any major city, notably including New York

The Blue Line is fine and drops me off two blocks from my house. If you take a car during off hours, it's under 20 minutes. So your headline is flawed.

I’ve lived in Chicago 8 yesrs and taken that train many times. It’s fine. Musk’s alternative is unnecessary.

No. It won't happen. So stop it, all of you.

NYC's airports need this far more than Chicago's. Even with the sky train it still only connects to a subway/commuter rail system that then takes quite a while - and you need to drag all your baggage thru that connection

Actually, the blue line is very good and musk should stay the fuck out of the city and it's infrastructure

Twelve minutes yes but the line to take the loop will take you hours of wait.
