I have been an accountant for 25 year. I have watched as bosses make more and the employee struggles to make ends meet. It is not socialism to want employees to make a living wage. It is pure greed for bosses to make an excellent income at the expense of their employees.

It is pure greed for owners to get obscenely wealthy at the expense of their employees AND the communities in which their businesses operate. When workers don't get a living wage- there is no discretionary spending- service/retail shops wither & die, the entire community suffers

A wage is an agreement. You agree to work for a certain wage and the company agrees to pay you that wage. You're not forced into this agreement. If you want more money make a different agreement, find another company or become your own employer.https://money.cnn.com/2018/02/02/news/economy/january-jobs-report-2018/index.html …

“Find a different company.” They’re all paying the same low wages. “Become your own business owner.” I have no money because all the jobs I worked paid barely enough to cover the bills. What’s your next ignorant bit?

“Workers” do not take the same risks as owners of capital do. Instead, they accept the certainty of a steady paycheck in return for serving as capital for owners who do accept those risks. Stop implying that they should participate as owners do. They’re free to incorporate too.

Our system has been corrupt for dacades and is becoming less and less sustainable. Maybe the CEOs could make millions instead of billions and everyone could be happy and we would have functioning capitalism. People can't spend money if they aren't paid.

“People can’t spend money if they aren’t being paid” -isn’t that where most of them were 2 years ago -UNEMPLOYED? One step at a time, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
