        Nasser. The same reason my parents left in 1956. They were made non citizens. Never even recognized as Egyptians even though they were born there and their parents were born there. Just forced to leave because Nasser wanted to Nationalize Egypt and Jews weren’t a part of the plan

        The Jewish and Palestian families who fled to the US after 1948, and they are many, have, everyone knows it, much contributed to the American wealth. The question today is whether the same US have ever truly wanted, in return, to help put an end to the very cause of the fleeing.
