        Dear @nytimes, That is not entirely correct. FIRST there was someone who would stand behind a counter and you would tell them what you want- THEN there was self-checkout. My grandfather owned one of the first self-serve grocery stores in #Chicago, #grocery #technology #shopping

        I haven't encountered a GO Store yet in my area. May be sometime before we obtain a store that uses retinal scans to monitor purchases although ... the idea of signing my kidney as collateral for purchases has a repoman feel
