        There is an irony here, in that Germany has been forced to build more coal power plants to offset the power inconsistencies produced by increased building of wind power stations.

        Those aren't "new" most of them were planned ages ago. And yes, we also shut down the nuclear power plants, which can be debated but is overall also a right step.
