For years Republicans have enjoyed the support of a powerful constituency: conservative evangelical Christians. But now a group of progressive Christians is moving to bring evangelical voters to the Democratic Partyhttps://nyti.ms/2Oi34FE

So, focus on that ONE issue, yet ignore the social atrocities the other party stands for which are too long to list on Twitter. Yeah... I think I know which "Christians" will go to their desired destination in the afterlife and which ones will go to a much warmer place... 🔥🔥🔥

That might be so. But it's not the *ONLY* issue. What happens when those fetuses become babies and then children and then adults who need help w education, or health, or resources, or because they're disabled. Screw them, that's what. Right? Hypocrisy at it's best.

Are you kidding me?? There are *already* THOUSANDS of humans of all ages in the US who are being neglected by the political right. Sick, underprivileged, w/o health insurance... Excuse me, but willful neglect only makes your argument weaker.

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Hebrews 13:4. So you are willing to ignore every. other. sin. as long as they are anti-choice? Weird values.

I don't care about Democrat/Republican when it comes to the church, but I don't understand how the apathy and hatred of the poor fits Christianity at all.

There is no hatred of the poor. That is a pure fantasy that your ideological handlers have created for you, a mental prison.

Indifference to the power... just as awful. Conservative “Christians” are the least Christ like people in the United States. Christ would want universal healthcare and a minimum living wage and high taxes to pay for the care of society as a whole. So basically they are full of it

There is room for charity from private, not public, sources. It doesn't need to come from taxes and the govt. Fact is, modern conservatism is selfish; the opposite of Christianity.

Interesting because conservatism has nothing whatsoever to do with religion. Clearly you’ve never seriously studied the American Revolution, or else you’d know that.
