        A better way to look at an economy is to look at how an economic policy affects the median or even the income of a country. Average income could increase but the policy may only benefit the rich bit if the median increases it means the economic policy has benefited the population

        Should be a much larger focus on “underemployment” in labor statistics. More people may have jobs at a certain point but that doesn’t mean people are employed at their skill level

        Recent history shows us that the GOP comes in and makes a money grab that boosts numbers for a short time before they tumble causing turmoil. Dems then come in, clean up and the process starts over.
