How long did it take you to find this single event just so you could bash emergency operations? Typical sorry ass liberal media looking for something to blame @realDonaldTrump for.

Hurricanes are "natural disasters." Its sort of like managing a plane crash on a grand scale. No man made response will ever be sufficient. There is no way to avoid damages other than to leave. And even that doesn't insulate from death.

The City of Houston was ordered not to evacuate and to shelter in place. If you read the article then you would have known that her doctors ordered her not to travel or to get her stitches wet.

I live in Houston & by shear luck, didn't get wet. My ex wife had 6 feet of water so she went to a motel. It was a bad tropical storm. After Hurricane IKE it was clear if you weren't prepared you might die. The feds can't move fast enough, they're too big. You're on your own.

I to live in Houston they were prepared and he begin trying to get her rescued as soon as she begin getting sick. It took two days to get help and it was from volunteers who used google map to pin point there location. This is something our 911 system is not equipped to do.

If the City was telling them to shelter in place, that is because it was TOO LATE, which means they missed the evacuation window. As for the doctor, emergencies happen. I would not have stayed just because of that.

The Mayor instructed people not to evacuate because the last time they did that with Rita thousands of people were stranded and died on the road and her DOCTORS told her she could not travel!!!!

Save it. I lived in Houston for many years. I remember the incident. People evacuated. I do not care what someone said happened. And, if she could not travel, I presume she received all of her home visits via house call? YOU DON'T JEOPARDIZE FIRST RESPONDERS B/C OF EXCUSES!!!
