Shouldn't these things have already been environmental concerns?

Should have been, yes, but instead the #Republicans that control the state of #NC passed laws banning the study of sea level rises due to things like #ClimateChange aka #GlobalWarminghttps://www.democracynow.org/2018/9/12/headlines/6_years_before_florence_north_carolina_passed_law_banning_studies_of_sea_level_rise …

Literal shit storm: all the feces and garbage from those places will spill into the water and get carried inland and out in the ocean. Those beaches will be lovely! 💩🏖🏄🏻‍♂️🏊‍♀️🤢

All of the corp farms have succeeded in blocking any effort to control their environmental impact so they can now prepare for class action lawsuits if our water supplies are contaminated @NC_Governor time to take care of this was before hurricane Florence.

When you deny climate change and believe that the fewer regulations regarding the environment the better, this is what you get...

But hey, FEMA (who had money diverted to ICE) says they can handle any situation, even with less money! So, it’ll all be okay in a week! I was just sarcastic AF, in case you were wondering.

Yes! hopefully he'll do away with that pesky emissions test in CO. I pay $20 every two years and if my check engine light is on I'm forced to fix my car just to get my tags renewed. Disgraceful!

There will be lessons to be learned after the storm passes. What a mess. If we're not careful everything will get rebuilt and the pollution will continue. Coal ash. And trump wants to expand coal. He won't see that there is a problem.

It's not like people haven't been warning about those dangers for years, it's just that those who created them don't want to be held accountable for their negligence and stupidity.

Maybe we should tie homeowner insurance rates to political party affiliation. If you vote for climate change deniers, your insurance rates are doubled!

This article doesn’t mention that pig farms that use antibiotics (especially doxycycline) create massive hot spots for MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staph aureus). As if more good news were needed.
