Virtually everyone in Silicon Valley was. The fact that some had highly negative personal feelings about Trump and that some of that leaked out in business settings isn't wrong. In fact, it's perfectly human.

The point is that
@Google executives’ nearly unanimous commitment to fight “nationalism” and “populism” completely undermines their claims to be a neutral search engine. -
Not to mention an internal memo makes it clear that they WEREN'T being "neutral" (silent donation) Look, if the company was "benign"-people probably would trust them/wouldn't care. What we've discovered tho is they're quite malignant and cancerous to our elections.

Talk about nothing burger. So what? Who wasn’t? 55% of voters certainly were, and of the nonvoters, I’m sure a very large percentage of them.

When the top
@google brass spend their post-getting-whupped-at-the-pills powwow brainstorming ways to influence future elections, everyone should pay attention. That is sedition, and sedition is bad. - 1 more reply

I watched most of this. It just shows them being cognizant of how statistically most of their employees feel while also being respectful to those who feel differently. And addressing things Trump said on the campaign trail are in conflict with their stated values and bottom line.
-
The fact that anyone could look at this and be like "oh my gosh can you believe how biased they are??" is kinda perplexing ...and so I guess calibrating to me on the bubbles we're developing in this country.

Yeah. Especially since conservative voices aren't being removed from social media or search engines, or anything like that.

Not that unusual for informed Americans to bemoan the election of a well known grifter, etc. except maybe Maggie. How’s his election been for your business? Trump got elected. And we helped.

Business is great! 4.2 GDP, lowest black and Hispanic unemployment in history. Thanks Trump!

actually was referring to NYT's business, since they helped elect trump. How's the weather in Saint Petersburg?
