Officials said that the level of median household income in 2017 was roughly the same as in 2007, the last full year before the financial crisishttp://nyti.ms/2CQ6Cxy

Please stop using the poverty rate as a measure of success. The Federal Poverty Level is $12k for a single person, $25k for a family of 4. So, if you make $26k and you have an unemployed spouse and two kids, you are not considered to be living in poverty! That's BS.

To consider there are 40million Americans trying to survive living below the poverty level is insane. Let's also please include a realistic number of Americans that struggle, not just those living under an arbitrary statistical guideline (it doesn't even consider where you live)

How many do we think are living under 3x the poverty level--$36k for an individual, $75k for a family of 4. It is still tough to make ends meet at those numbers in today's economy. I live in mid- to large-American city and couldn't afford to buy a house at $75k--no one could.

The median income of America's households must sink considerably in the futuire as the ill-fated "post-industrial servives economy" is a blunder (blessed by Economy Nobel Prize laureates). A weird Voodoo economy which is bound to fail. Not Trump's fault. Foreseeable.pic.twitter.com/mwSmCsivg4

Lol one tweet earlier you were touting the 3 year increase. Great, so we are back to 2007. ITs 2018!

Does the data include outliers? The rich have gotten richer, some of them by A LOT. No double just a couple millionaires that became billionaires will skew the data to paint a rosy picture of average income

We need to start measuring the economy by how the average American is doing as opposed to how the billionaires and multi-nationals are doing.

This is why in supposed strong economic growth those in 99% are still feeling pain Only 1% are feeling this growth while 99% struggle to get by Look at cost of consumer goods in 2017 vs 2007 to quantify their pain 🚨🚨
