NBC can do what it wants, but this is a mistake. MacDonald is being punished for expressing the "wrong opinion". He did not perpetrate abuse. He expressed a point of view. This is abuse of another kind. The punishment is not appropriate because there was no crime. 1/

The Right is a problem with rise of Nationalism. The Left is a problem with the rise Authoritarianism. Somebody better get their act together, otherwise there will be a lot of write-ins. Where the hell is true Big Tent Liberalism?

And the left is sick of the normal (oppressive) way our society functions. Holding people accountable isn’t a bad thing.

The stick the left wields has one unmeasured swing for all "infractions". This is not accountability. This is abuse.

oh forchristssakes. When will this end? Loius CK admitted to everything. Roseanne has always been a train wreck and off colour. Big deal. Apologize and let's move on.

What’s the point of an apology if you don’t mean it? I think everyone would like to move on. Without them.

And i support @normmacdonald. We have gone from sensible accountability to cold McCarthyism. It's out of hand. Blacklisted now for having compassion borne out of a different point of view. I understand owning your mistakes but this has become the actual glee filled witch hunt.
