Generosity may have been crucial to the survival of our early ancestors. Studying ape gift-giving might help us understand the origins of those impulses.https://nyti.ms/2N5CS4L

We did not descend from Monkeys. We have generosity because we were created in the image of the one true God that is so generous he gave us the very life we have. So stop with the monkeys

Another I'll informed comment. No we didn't descend from "Monkeys" we descended from a common ancestor. Chimpanzees are apes, not monkeys.

This is proof that morality doesn’t come from religion. It is a byproduct of natural selection. Species that cooperate for the common good, tend to survive.

There’s a lot of people who could learn something from this mainly Twitler @realDonaldTrump administration and his cult following! Kindness, sharing, gifting, so the entire species can survive.

I thought altruism had already been accepted as a central tenet to mankind's development. Would gift-giving not fall under that label too ... as a show of friendship, kinship, regard, love?

Ditto? Margaret, daily complaining about a President solves little. This tweet that was responded to had nothing to do with the POTUS.

Thanks for the feedback. My comment wasn’t a complaint. An observation of fact. I wasn’t aware I asked for advice. Free advice is widely offered, rarely worthwhile.
