I see, so in order to combat supposed ethnic discrimination against Jewish students, the Department will engage in discrimination against Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims and anyone who dares to exercise their free speech rights re the Israeli occupation.

Will the DOE reopen the complaint they dismissed concerning the mistreatment of an Autistic non verbal child in SC public school and the lies told to keep a domino affect from taking out good ole boys and girls? A child that has regressed since being in school....

I don't know, what color is the child? That seems to be a big factor with this admin.

It didn't just declare Judaism an ethnicity. It effectively declared Zionism an ethnicity. Because that's the only way they could justify calling anti-Zionism an anti-Semitic act. This is just gross. Top to bottom repulsive. Zionism is textbook nationalism. Ideology. Not race.

Nonsense. A Jew is defined by whether his/her mother is a Jew, religious or not, unless the person is a convert. The Nuremberg Laws regarded a Jew as a person with one Jewish grandparent. Hence, being as its by descent then add in DNA linking all Jews making us an ethnic group.

I have never understood this. I can convert to being Jewish, but not to being black so how is Jewish an ethnicity. Serious question, just never understood.

You’d be converting to the religion of Judaism not to the ethnicity of a Jew. An ethnic Jew is one by descent (bloodline in my parents day) with Judaism optional. The confusion’s in the name. In some languages Jews are called Israelites, Judaism the religion so is less confusing

You mean like why they don't call themselves Israelites? Good question.
