After all the atrocities and destruction caused by the USA all over the world, the wisdom of nature hits them back, so they get what they deserve. It's KARMA!

Namely, the confluence of "knowledge of foreseeable harm" + "fiduciary duty to the People they represent" has to reach (pun intended) a "tipping point," does it not? Ah, me- perhaps the only recourse is VOTING out the party beholden to the status quo. Guess it.

Question: if, as I suspect, hurricanes become "that much stronger" in the next 10-20 years due to unabated Natural Gas extraction/Energy Policy..."at what point" does our OWN GOVERNMENT become LIABLE to the Property Owners along the Atlantic Seaboard for such willful neglect?

Hope the preparations are done and that the authorities do what they are supposed to. Also You have to start understand that only a responsible society can do what is needed to build an infrastructure that withstands climate change and all kinds of events.
