A very good idea to open good jobs for seekers & reduce long term effects of over- working.

I have been advocating for 4-day work week, since the early seventies! Clearly no one paid attention to me, or the people who it was a great idea. *sigh*

A STUPID MOVE Working 4 day week would amount to at least 5% price increase on all cosumer's goods, which must be paid by everybody.

Remember #funemployment? During the recession lots of places in California went to a 4-day week; a policy to avoid layoffs. Pay was 20% lower, but back then rent was 60% lower so it worked out OK for a lot of people.
