Vaccines against HIV, malaria and tuberculosis are unlikely to be produced in the foreseeable future unless vastly more money is committed to finding them, a new study has concludedhttps://nyti.ms/2QiKcHZ

Big Pharma does not want vaccines for these diseases - there’s way more money in treatment. No money in the cure - the money is in the comeback.

There are already vaccines. The government finds people who create them, take the vaccine and act like it doesn’t exist to promote expensive treatment

Anyone ever wonder why we have such trade deficits with the so called friends of ours and those same allies don’t pony up more towards funding these studies? It’s always on the American taxpayer and the US military yet they whine about paying their share and nobody says anything.

This is pathetic. The world doesn't care. The needed spending increase would be 0.00007 of global GDP. "Unless the $3 billion spent annually on research triples, the world may not be able to invent vaccines or rapid cures for many ills of the poor."https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/07/health/vaccines-hiv-malaria-tuberculosis.html …

There's not a lot of incentive for private industry to create a one-time treatment that prevents disease, when there's so much more profit in long-term treatments later on. The world must socialize healthcare and medical research.
