RT @nytimesbusiness Harvard students demanded a "living wage" for campus workers. The university heeded the call and helped many move into the middle class. Could the policy work more widely?https://nyti.ms/2QizOA8

Probably not, but it doesn't need to work more widely. It's 2018. We have solved the supply problem. It's beyond time to stop forcing landless people to prove their right to exist. It's beyond time for unconditional basic income. Wake up, people!

Please let it be so. Most are understaffed, overwhelmed, overworked, not making a living wage.

I am a firm believer that all college sport coaches should make what professors make which would free up some money for the campus workers. College sports is out of control.

If you have available funds...yes you can do it. If you don’t...then no you can not do it. Harvard has always had them...why did it take so long for them to make the change?

The result will be, except for protected classes, those not worth the higher wage will lose their jobs and those workers worth more will be hired.
