        < Pac-man The giant #plastic trap. Once the boom detaches from the towing vessel, v hv very less control over the boom as it’s propoelled by wind & waves. Should hv bn equipped with plastic tracker & focus on the specific area 🌊 2make it more effective in trapping the plastic.

        We do need to clean up the ocean, but we have to remember that this is like a band-aid for the real problem. Reducing the global use of single-use plastic packaging is key to solving the problem at its source.

        NYT FAILS to point out this plastic comes almost exclusively from Far Eastern nations, including China. Meanwhile environmental terrorists on West Coast of U.S. THREATEN JAIL TIME FOR PLASTIC STRAWS!
