I have a feeling no one in the comment section actually read the article, but everyone is criticizing the point she is making. She just wants people to make their intentions clear. That shouldn't be too much to ask.

This assumes he was positive of his intent. I read it. I can see other perspectives. Is intimacy a promise of intent? Sometimes those things go somewhere. Sometimes they don’t. It isn’t a lot to ask. Some people don’t know and don’t want to say later bc it was only a few dates.

I agree with you. I'm not saying she's right or wrong. I was just getting tired of the people bashing her opinions base on the headline alone.

The Modern Love columns give valuable insight to the human existence. From octogenarians dating to dealing with death, no subject is off limits. I appreciate that the writers bare their souls for the reader to learn and grow.

Ghosting is a complex subject. I did it once, when I finally figured out that I cared much more for my girlfriend than she cared for me. I found a new girlfriend. Three decades later I still feel no guilt.
