Wealth generated by slaves working sugar, rice and cotton plantations built Barbados. If you're willing to stray from the island's beaches, you can still find parts of that history.https://nyti.ms/2NYRsaC

Not 100% true. Local archeologists have been uncovering the evidence of their time here for years. Sure, you won't know by looking - t if you go digging, you can find the evidence.

Actually, slavery was started when the DUTCH went and bought the slaves in Africa and took them back to Europe and sold them there.

Start what? You really didn’t even need to reply. What happened was just that. I suggest you look in an encyclopedia. And no, I’m not saying you’re wrong.

I'm just wondering why you would mention that? It's usually five as a deflection tactic.

I said it in response to the thread I was in. That’s why I mentioned it. No other reason. Would I need a reason when those in the thread are talking about slavery and finding artifacts from it and where and whom it started...?

My apologies for misunderstanding - but just be aware that from the viewpoint of anyone else opening this tweet, there's no thread - so it looks as though you're just bringing that up for no reason.
