Arizona lawmakers cut education budgets. Then teachers got angry. There is a grass-roots uprising taking place in Arizona, and teachers are leading the way.https://nyti.ms/2MVbtSJ

Oh come on! It doesn't take too much brainpower to understand why Republicans would underfund public schools. (a) They want private schools to make money (Capitalism) (b) They prefer the masses being uneducated so they can be controlled. (Totalitarianism)

Bots in full affect here because Ducey fucked up education so hard in AZ that people might not turn out for him in November. Even republicans want schools to be funded. Lots of republicans have children in public schools.

So there is money available for tax cuts for the super rich yet public schools struggle to provide the bare essentials for students. Betsy DeVos, one of Trumps finest in action.

Lawmakers cutting budgets for education shows how ignorant they are! We’re already behind most industrial countries and now we will fall farther behind. Makes a lot of sense.

Teachers don’t get paid well as they deserved, plus during the summer all schools are off for the students to enjoy 😉 their vacation, but the teachers aren’t receiving any salaries from the schools. Our country doesn’t appreciate teachers and it’s wrong.

Education : an investment in ones future Also education : not the governments job to provide. What public education forgot to teach you: the CONSTITUTION.

It's not about the overall budget, but how it is apportioned. Arizona, like the rest of the USA, undervalues, undertrains & underpays its teachers, compared with other countries. Throw away the 19th c. factory assembly line system, look at other countries' successes, and change.

Educación is a Constitutional right. The State has the obligation to provide it without any restrictions. Reps want an uneducated citizens. Trump's election is the very clear example.
